  • Description:
  • Currently (January 2024), there is no centralized registration of project proposals and contracts. Methods and systems vary across faculties and departments. As a result, support staff spends a disproportionate amount of time on administrative tasks, which they would rather spend on supporting researchers. There is a strong need for a system that supports the current process regarding research proposal applications and automates it where possible. TU Delft intends to procure a software solution to administrate and manage (pre-award) research projects. The users of the tool should be able to build a complete project dossier over time, by collectively adding files, registering data and importing relevant information from other TU Delft systems. In addition, research administrators should be able to track research proposals as they move through various stages. These project files and meta data serve as input for TU Delft-s financial system, in which the projects- post-award financials are managed.
