- Description:
- Leiden University uses a cash register system for its catering operation (and reproduction services) with approximately 40 cash registers spread over several locations. This POS system has been in use since 2005, but now runs on outdated hardware. The current system is no longer supported by thesupplier and contains a number of risks in the field of security and privacy.
For the above reasons, the Client wants to replace the current cash register system with a user-friendly, secure and future-proof system that fits in with the university's architecture. Because the estimated costn for a contract for a longer period, exceeding the tender limit, the purchase/purchase of a new cash register system, including the implementation, the integration with the financial system, and the migration from the current to the new system, will be put out to tender at European level.
