- A new hybrid personal mobile radio (PMR) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) system for airports, basecamps and the Militairy police. The Netherlands Ministry of Defence (NLD MOD) is considering renewing its Mobile Telephony System (MOTEL)- Airforce (AF) systems for a hybrid personal mobile radio (PMR) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. The NLD MOD requires a modern renewed personal mobile radio (PMR) system that has additional LTE functionality. This PMR/LTE system will be used in airports and basecamps in the unfolded surrounding / out of area. This PMR/LTE system will also serve as an alternative of the C2000 system for the Koninklijke Marechaussee (KMAR)/Military Police (MP). This new system consists of several parts like: node (repeater), antenna, several end user devices (PMR devices, ATEX devices and PMR/LTE devices), management workstation and interfaces.
