Description:
Major maintenance needs to be carried out on Eindhoven Airport's own platform; the asphalt pavements have reached the end of their lifespan and the load-bearing capacity of some concrete pavements is no longer sufficient. The blue edge lighting is also no longer available lifespan and a linear gutter must be replaced. For the purpose of major maintenance, the following work will be requested in one plot (definitive scope may still differ from the numbers below): Milling asphalt paving approx. 50,000 m2 Removing cement concrete pavement approx. 8,000 m2 Removing foundations approx. 1,500 m2 Removing markings approx. 1,500 m2 Applying foundation approx. 1,500 m2 Applying asphalt concrete intermediate layer and top layer approx. 50,000 m2 Applying cement concrete approx. 10,000 m2 Installing linear gutter approx. 30m Installing platform edge lighting approx. 500m Applying markings VOP 1 to 14.
