Description: The province of South Holland intends to leave an order to perform planned maintenance on the Hoornbrug in Rijswijk. The Hoornbrug is a bascule bridge with two bridge fails. This bridge is in accordance with the maintenance strategy to planned maintenance.
The work to be performed include:
- Maintenance and repair to civil constructions,
- Revision and partial replacement movement work,
- Installing preservation and replacement / repair of wear layers,
- Maintenance of and adjustments to the bridge deck (steel and concrete),
- Maintenance and replacement of electrical installations, including bridge control, including cabling,
- Maintenance and (partial) replacement sealing trim cabinets and shut-off trees,
- Repair or replace existing sinkers,
- Gaining CE marking.
Deviating from regular planned maintenance of movable bridges there is large-scale concrete renovation in this project.
