Description:
Tenders are invited for Phenix Shroud/Trolley Replacement - Design and Implementation - Expro Plus. The current configuration of the thermal tent shrouds is limiting the usable test volume relative to the vessel's size. To test larger spacecraft in two different configurations (vertical and horizontal), an upgrade to the shroud design is necessary to optimize the available volume within the vessel.The objective of this activity is to design and manufacture a new setup with the following goals:1.Optimize the shroud geometry to maximize the usable volume.2.Optimize the layout of the shroud supply line inside the vessel.3.Ensure that the same level of performance of the shrouds is maintained using the existing Temperature Control Unit (TCU) and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) system.4.Modify the specimen trolley, equipped with the specimen mechanical interface, to be configurable for both horizontal and vertical handling of specified test specimens.5.Enable the capability to load the specimen in a vertical configuration outside the chamber and allow for entry into the chamber in either vertical or horizontal orientation.Read more.
