Description: The Brabantse Delta water board intends to conclude one agreement for both preventive and corrective (acute) control of pests in the entire working area in accordance with the latest IPM standards, for rat control a minimum of IPM 4.0 applies. The emphasis is on animal welfare and the reduction of the use of biocides.
The water board wants a method in which risk inventory, determination, monitoring, targeted advice, control and (possibly) control activities are applied. The focus is on a preventive approach, to prevent acute outbreaks, whereby the business operations and the public health of the employees or contractors and any other attendees may not be endangered. In addition to preventive control, the agreement also includes corrective control, whereby the observed nuisance must be limited.
