• Woonopmaat faces an enormous challenge in making its assets future-proof and expanding where possible; the need for good and affordable housing is also as great as ever in the northern IJmond. The municipality of Heemskerk wants to grow into one population of 40,000+. This creates a shared ambition and task with regard to expanding the housing stock. We are dealing with a largely older property from the 1950s and 1970s. This also applies to the 'Schrijversbuurt' project. The Schrijversbuurt consists of mainly old and "worn out" smaller single-family homes that will make way for a modern, new and climate-adaptive neighborhood. A neighborhood that will become a home for one differentiated target group. The project team is looking for a project partner who can design and realize the new homes to be built together.
