Description:
The Preparation Foundation Pallas-reactor (PALLAS) has been established for the realization of a new, multifunctional nuclear reactor, the PALLAS Reactor Project (Project) in Petten, North Holland, to replace the current High Flux Reactor owned by European Commission. The Project is composed of several buildings and ancillaries for production and research of radioisotope for medical and industrial applications, as well as fuel testing research facilities. The basic design activities for the project are finished and PALLAS now enters into the construction phase in which it wishes to contract a general contractor. This market consultation is preceding the formal tendering process and aims to provide a better understanding of the procurement objectives, to gauge market interest in the project as well as to get the market opinion on the envisaged tendering and contracting approach.
