Description: Work for requested hiring: The assignment relates to the operation of two lock locks, namely: the Voornse Sluis (Brielse Maasdijk in Spijkenisse) and the Sluis Strijensas (Buitendijk Strijensas) the operation of both objects takes place on the spot. A third lock, the Oud Beijerland Keersluis, is only closed at high water levels on the river. This is usually done by own people from the water board. But also for this it applies that an appeal can be made to use hired lock control. See the appendix for a detailed description. Other data: The number of hours to be worked is variable about the hiring period. The end date of the hiring period is February 29, 2025. There is no option to extend. All requests from the Hollandse Delta Water Board via the DAS concern new hiring. Extensions of already present hiring are not requested via the DAS.
