Description : Schiphol Nederland BV, hereafter SNBV, intends to start a negotiation procedure without prior publication for the purchase of an "Open Architecture - Advanced Threat Detection solution". Because of the current situation at Schiphol Airport and the difficulties the security process experiences due to a shortage of staff, SNBV deems it necessary to procure an "Open Architecture - Advanced Threat Detection solution" in order to shorten the queues and be best equipped to detect possible threats in the security process, also in the future.SNBV believes this procedure could be started on the basis of article 3. 36 lid 1, c, sub 2.SNBV is in need of an advanced and dynamic technology solution to identify potential prohibited items and threats in carry-on baggage. This allows for improved threat detection, reduction of operational costs and an improved passenger experience during the screening process.
