• De Dommel Water Board is about to replace the seating furniture (office chairs and conference chairs). Before further developing the purchasing strategy and starting the tender procedure, the water board wants to consult interested market parties in the field of circularity. The circular ambitions of De Dommel Water Board are high. We want to use 50% fewer raw materials by 2030 and tender all projects 100% circular. In this tender we use the principle “circular, unless”. That is why we ask suppliers to score as high as possible on the Rladder and to look at the entire life cycle of the product. With this market consultation, De Dommel Water Board wants to obtain information about whether and to what extent the current seating furniture can be used in a circular manner. If the current seating furniture can be reused, we would like to hear from the market how this can best be incorporated into a tender to achieve optimal results.
