Description:
Tenders are invited for NGGM and Magic End-2-End Mission Performance Evaluation Study - Expro+. The study has the objective to evaluate NGGM and MAGIC Mission Performance according to the requirements set out in the NGGM and MAGIC MRDs. To achieve that, an End-to-End Mission Performance Evaluation Framework (MPEF) is expected to be developed and implemented, which includes an efficient and performant NGGM/MAGIC End-to-End Mission Performance Evaluation Simulator (NEMPES)" to support theNGGM Project, NGGM PDGS and NGGM validation team. The study shall provide valuable input to the activities defined in the ESA/NASA joint science plan on MAGIC, such as the performance assessment of MAGIC. The study shall provide an assessment of mission performance for the baseline and variants of NGGM which shall also support the evolution of the NGGM design. The activity will include the following tasks (not exhaustive):- Mission Performance Evaluation Framework (MPEF) definition- Development, implementation, and validation of NEMPES with capability to process Level-0 to Level-3 NGGM and MAGIC products- Update of background models for realistic E2E simulations (e.g. ESA ESM, AO de-aliasing product)- NGGM and MAGIC assessment of mission performance within the MPEF- Support the evolution of NGGM design during the development phase.
