- Tenders are invited for Newathena Redefinition System Studies The redefinition study will comprise: Detailed definition of the interfaces between the Instruments and the SC (in particular, PLC) in cooperation with the Instruments consortia. Design and analysis of the new simplified PLC concept (replacing the SIM). Update of the Mission/System design based on the updated ESA requirements and on the new PLC design. Update of the development and AIVT plans according to the new design. Definition/update of subsystem/unit specifications, in particular for the PLC subassembly and elements. Running of RFI campaign whenever necessary. Update of the programmatic dossier, including schedule, risk and industrial CaC estimation. Conduct a dialogue phase with ESA to consolidate implementation requirements (in preparation of Phase B2CDE1ITT). Support the Mission Adoption Review (MAR)
