Purpose of the tender
The aim of this European public tender is to conclude an Agreement with one contractor per plot to realize the work relating to the new construction of the Tubbergen WWTP.
Description of the Client
Water is of vital importance. We have hIt is needed as drinking water, for arable farming, in livestock farming and in industry. In the Netherlands there is usually enough water, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. That is why water management is necessary. Where there is too much water, the water boards drain it. Where there is too little, they supply it. With permitsthey regulate the discharge of polluted water. They purify the sewage water and maintain the flood defenses.
Vechtstromen Water Board covers roughly Twente, Southeast Drenthe and Northeast Overijssel. The management area covers 225,000 hectares, has 800,000 inhabitants and approximately 470,000 households.
