SURF outsources the construction and operational management (Service Desk, NOC management activities and Field Services) of its network. Operational management must be organized efficiently and effectively for optimal service to our members; quality, reliability and availabilityn essential.
SURF provides a Contractor who provides stable services to SURF's customers by taking responsibility for 24x7 monitoring of the network, handling disruptions and implementing changes to the network. Innovation on the used ssoftware and processes in collaboration with SURF aims to continuously improve efficiency and quality.
Good mutual cooperation between the Contractor and SURF is important. On a daily basis, this concerns the implementation of the standard processes. In addition, the cooperation on tactical and strategic level to monitor and improve services where possible.
