NEOs are natural celestial bodies, including asteroids and comets, that come into proximity to Earth. Their orbits intersect with our planet's path, making them potential collision risks. As part of SSA efforts, detecting and characterizing NEOs is crucial for planetary defence and scientific exploration.NEO Polarimetry: A Valuable Technique. NEO polarimetry leverages the polarization of light reflected by these objects. By analysing the polarization patterns, we can infer essential physical properties, including:1.Shape: The geometry of NEOs. 2.Size: Their dimensions. 3.Surface Roughness: Texture variations. 4.Composition: Insights into their material makeup.
