- In the new organization, neighborhood sports coaches who will focus on the neighborhood in one organization as a sports professional work on one vision: the residents of Tiel, from young to old, that they are healthy, vital and resilient. Exercising and exercise is one of the (preventive) agents that contributes to this. Neighborhood sports coaches will play an important role within the established sports policy of the municipality of Tiel: • Using sport as a means, for example, to increase social cohesion and thus prevent loneliness of the elderly. • Creating suitable sports offering for vulnerable groups. • Supporting associations to become/remain vital. • Linking the sport and exercise needs to the multifunctional use of sports parks. The sports coaches work closely with each other and benefit from each other's network. The sports coaches guide as many vulnerable residents as possible to suitable activities. In addition, the sports coach contributes in collaboration with the municipality
