- Description : This tender calls for the delivery, installation and on site acceptance test of a 5 axis milling machine at the TU DELFT location TNWz. This specific machine needs to be implemented with linear drive motors for the X, Y, Z axis with a travelling speed of minimal 80 m/min and an acceleration of 10 m/sĀ² to comply with a high level of dynamic motion during production of specific metal parts. The required accuracy per axis is 0,005mm or less for the 3D milling of metals.This machine will be used to support experimental scientific development to produce one of a kind products for test set ups.
