- Market consultation Management and maintenance of assets at the Railcenter Foundation in Amersfoort (from 2026) In order to provide high-quality training, Railcenter uses various practice areas. These practice areas with various assets are inextricably linked to the training program from Railcenter. The assets in these practice areas (at the Railcenter in Amersfoort) are partly owned by ProRail and are made available to Railcenter. The assets must be managed, maintained and/or renewed. ProRail makes the assets available and has since the existence of Railcenter an agreement with Railcenter for its management and maintenance. The current value of the assignment is approximately € 450,000 per year, excluding VAT. The assets are maintained by Railcenter so that they remain in good condition for the training courses. The vast majority of the management and maintenance work is carried out by Railcenter itself (its own people who are also directly involved in the training). The use of the installations and therefore the required maintenance differs from national maintenance and therefore concerns tailor-made solutions.
