Description:
The passerelle in Zwolle will be a new footbridge over the tracks that connects the north side and the south side of the station. The passerelle is designed as a pedestrian connection. It will be a 'lifted street' where people can walk and stay. A bridge 10 meters wideover the tracks, with plenty of greenery, benches and art, made of wood and sustainable materials.
The passerelle will be realized in phases, consisting of a substructure and a superstructure. The present assignment concerns the realization of the superstructure.
The passerelle is realized on initiationf from the municipality of Zwolle and also fully financed by the municipality. For more information, please refer to the project website: The passerelle, the sustainable icon of Zwolle | Municipality of Zwolle.
The work consists of:
Civil technical work;
Creating roof gardens (excluding plants);
Hsupplying and installing water systems for play water and irrigation of plants;
Maintenance of (only) the installations for two years with an option to extend twice for one year;
Design of the public space at the entrance to the passerelle on the north side (station etcijde);
The design of public space at the entrance to the south side is not within the scope of this contract. This is included as an option/provisional item in the specifications;
Delivery of baked paving stones. An exception to this are the stones already purchased by the municipality of Zwolle for the north square....
