Description: The Service for the Land Registry and the Public Registers, hereinafter referred to as "Het Land Registry", records and provides information about the location of real estate in the Netherlands and the rights associated with it, such as ownership and mortgage . This also applies to ships, aircraft and (underground) networks. Our legal task ensures legal certainty: it is clear to everyone who has what rights. Together with other governments, we ensure that the geographical information in the Netherlands can be properly consulted. Background and objective Marktconsultation The Land Registry wants to explore the possibilities to simplify and modernize the work process of the surveyor.
