Description:
Mathematica is software that offers a technical programming environment within the University of Groningen (RUG), in which numerical and exact calculations, graphical output, automation and text, among other things, are fully integrated. Mathematica is used in symbolic mathematics.
During eand desk research carried out has shown that there are no alternatives to Mathematica that match the functional requirements of the RUG and the conclusion is that Wolfram, through their reseller CANDiensten, is the only supplier who can supply the Mathematica application as described.
Like liverproviders are of the opinion that they can also meet the requirements and conditions described in the appendix, they are requested to respond to this market consultation before 19 August 2023. If there are no responses, the UG will purchase Matlhematica from the supplier Wolfram via the reseller CANDienstenand without further publications.
