Description : Gasunie will possibly publish a European Tender in 2022 for plugvalves and for this reason we would like to know what possibilities are available in the market. This market consultation is aimed at plug valves but also at alternative valve types which offer the same functionality as a plugvalve.
At the moment Gasunie uses lubricated, metal seated, pressure balanced plug valves in our network for the function of blow off and pressure levelling. The valve is suitable for choked flows and is operated at reduced valve opening in the first stage and slowly opened to fully open at lower pressure differences. See the attached specifications for further information.
