Description: The municipality of Leeuwarden participates in the program ' Prevention with authority ' of the Ministry of Justice and Security. This program focuses on preventing young people from coming into contact with or further slip into crime and a good reintegration of young people who have been in crime. Together with a number of partners from the care and judicial field, including the police, the Public Prosecution Service, Probation Center (3RO), Directorate of Protection and Security, Amaryllis, RIEC Northern Netherlands, the Fryslân Care and Security House, the Child Protection Board and Stichting Halt has submitted a plan of action for this to the municipality. This plan describes which interventions these partners will use in the coming period for our young people. The duration of the program is first three years, after which on the basis of a national evaluation extension is possible up to ten years. As part of this program, we want to reinforce social work and youth work. To this end, around 3 FTEs per year can be made available for a period of 3 years.
