Description : In the first half of March 2022 a tender will be published. The objective of this tender is to conclude an agreement with a tenderer who is able to carry out the morphological and scour assessment of the IJmuiden Ver (IJV) Wind Farm Zone.
The study is scheduled to commence in June 2022. The acquired morphological information will be made publicly available for all potential bidders for offshore wind farms in the Netherlands. The objective is to conduct a study, utilising available data from (geophysical and geotechnical) surveys and other sources of information, to improve the understanding of the seabed morphology and morphodynamics of the IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone. The study will consist of analyses of the autonomous seabed dynamics and also the scouring that is to be expected during the lifetime of an offshore windfarm.
