Description:
The municipality of Rijswijk accommodates around 250 Ukrainian displaced persons in emergency accommodation (hotels) in Rijswijk. These locations have no facilities for washing clothes and cannot organize this for these people. The municipality therefore uses a laundry service from an external party. This means: washing (40 degrees), drying, folding and a general check whether some clothing needs to be washed at a lower temperature. The municipality intends to put this service out to tender and wants to use this market consultation to gain insight into the current options and solutions that market parties can offer. The service includes an average of 650 laundry bags per month until September 1, 2026. Due to the move to a location with its own washing facilities, the service will be significantly reduced or possibly terminated from that date. With this consultation we want to identify the interest of market parties in the future assignment in order to achieve high-quality service.
