LVNL needs a professional supporting software in drawing up the resource capacity and training planning of air traffic controllers, assistants, education and training facilities such as simulators (SIM) for the benefit of: • Improving efficiency: Operations (OPS)and Training Organization (TO) find that the current resource capacity and training planning process is inefficient, resulting in duplication of work, loss of time and lack of insight and control over the availability of resources. • Scaling up: The current software (Excel) supports existencethe resource capacity and training planning process are insufficient partly due to changing organizational needs. Functional requirements: LVNL OPS and TO have specific functional requirements for resource capacity, education and training facilities planning, such as complex schedules, capacity plansng, taaktoewijzingen en real-time updates.
