Description : The Netherlands Ministry of Defense invites the market to participate in this Market Consultation.This Market Consultation is performed by The Netherlands Ministry of Defense (NL-MoD), Directorate Material Organization (DMO), Department Purchase IT (Inkoop IT). A Market Consultation is a tool to learn from the market what is possible before (the specifications of) a request for Proposal is created. With this Market Consultation NL-MoD/DMO/Inkoop IT can decrease procurement risks. Together with these objectives, NL-MoD has need to learn about trends and developments in the current market. IT Operations (part of DMO) aims at more interoperability for its Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) structure, means and operations. In this case especially for Personal PKI as implemented right now on the NL-MoD smartcard. Therefore NL-MoD/DMO/Inkoop IT has a need to know if and how the technical standard FIPS201 can be implemented in the NL-MoD smartcard and whether the FIPS201 implementation can successfully be certified according to EU Regulation 910/2014 eIDAS article 29.
