A lot of new construction is planned in the Binckhorst district in The Hague in the coming years, including in the Trekvliet-Maanweg development zone. In this development zone, 5,000-7,500 new-build homes and 79,000 m2 GFA non-residential buildings are expected to be built over the next 15 years. To make this new building of heat eIn order to provide cooling, the Municipality of The Hague wishes to have a very sustainable low-temperature heating system installed to which all customers in the area can be connected. This heating and cooling system must be supplied with heat from renewable sources that are available locally, such as electricityt Heat-Cold Storage in the soil and regeneration of the heat demand from aquathermal and air (air-water heat pumps).
