Description: The strategy of the Video management is to reach all Dutch people (diversity policy) to a sufficient extent (view time share) with a mix of programs (pluriformity and genremix) that meet the mission of Dutch Public broadcaster (reliable, quality, distinctive, innovative) and they are offered through all relevant platforms (integral programming). The ' Core Business' 'of the Video Directorate is programming for the NPO 1-2-3 television networks, NPO Zapp/Zappelin, the extra channels and the On Demand Platforms NPO Start and NPO Plus, the broadcast of the title schedule' ' ' s and taking care of the daily broadcasts on the public television channels and platforms. The Foreign Fiction Department, which is part of the Video Directorate, buys all foreign fiction for all nets for all public broadcasters and prepares this broadcast. Almost all purchased fiction for Zapp/Zappelin is translated and spilled. Here the translation and dubbing of foreign fiction contributes to the accessibility of Zapp/Zappelin programming for the youngest target group of the NPO.
