- The municipality of The Hague is preparing a European tender for the daily news provision. The news provision focuses on collecting and distributing (online) news articles about the city, the municipality and relevant policy objectives. In preparation for this Tender, which will be published at the end of Q3/beginning Q4 of 2025, invites the Communicatie & CityBranding market parties to think along. The news provision consists of two parts:
A daily newsletter
With the most important news articles about the municipality and themes that touch on different policy objectives. This newsletter contains approximately 20 to 30 articles per day and consists of both licensed content and non-litered content. The selection of articles is made by the media analysts of the Communications and Citybranding Directorate (DCC) based on items that are loaded into a newsfeed. This newsletter is sent by mail every working day at 9:00 am to a group of around 300 officials.
Media analyzes on request
The media analysts can use an analysis tool to perform various media analyzes based on Desk research. They have the option of searching at least 90 days back in time, both in licensed and non-litered content, including messages that have not been published in the newsletter before.
