- Description:
- The MUMC intends to launch a tender for the outsourcing of mortuary management services. The MUMC is looking for a partner who can provide the following services, among others:
• Collection of the deceased from the wards within 2 hours after death;
• Carrying out the necessary hprocedures and transfer of the deceased to the mortuary;
•Execution and supervision of special wishes with regard to the last care on behalf of the relatives or funeral carer;
•Guiding a ritual washing or mourning visit;
•Refrigerated storage of the deceasedin accordance with laws and regulations;
•Maintain - on a strictly neutral basis - contacts with relatives and funeral directors;
•Providing the necessary forms after death;
•Arranging a cremation for stillborn babies under 24 weeks of pregnancy;
•Coordinating the activities in themortuary in case of calamities in the hospital or the region;
