Description: The municipality of Utrecht intends to hold a European tender for maintenance to, among other things, automatic doors (whereby lift doors are not taken into account). Prior to the tender, the municipality would like to exchange ideas with market parties about the structure of the tender and the options.
In this case, "automatic doors" refers to the special (usually electrically operated) doors (see also appendices 1 and 2), such as overhead doors (sectional and roller doors), (automatic) sliding doors, fire and smoke screens, turnstiles, etc. Inside the municipality of Utrecht there are approximately 500 such doors spread over approximately 250 buildings. Lift doors are not part of this tender.
