Description: Together with the municipality of Apeldoorn, the housing associations De Wooneople, De Goede Woning and Ons huis, the Jacobus Fruytier school community, Liander and Firan, the Vallei en Veluwe Water Board is exploring the feasibility of constructing a sustainable heating network for the Kerschoten district in North Apeldoorn. The heat source is formed by aquathermy from the effluent (purified sewage water) from the nearby WWTP Apeldoorn.
The heat exchanger is the means to recover this heat from the effluent. At present there is insufficient knowledge and experience with the qualities and costs of the heat exchangers available on the market that are equipped to extract heat from effluent. We want to visualize these by means of market research and consultation on heat exchangers.
