- The IUC-RIVM intends to tender the purchase of HL7 tooling. HL7 is an international standard for information exchange in healthcare. There are different versions of HL7 in use such as FHIR, v3.0 and v2.5. Within RIVM, a number of incoming data flows have been recognized in which HL7 is the information standard used. This concerns data from hospitals, laboratories, general practitioner information systems, municipal health services, etc. As a result, RIVM needs a standard building block to efficiently convert HL7 messages, read with minimal customization, into other message formats so thatthese can be stored in underlying systems and retrieved vice versa.
