- At the end of 2025, the current concession for the exploitation of the beach houses on the Zuiderstrand will expire. At the moment there are two operators who have each placed 20 beach houses and exploit them. The beach houses are placed every year in April and must be removed in Octoberbecome. The municipality has determined that it does not consider long -term rental or sale of the beach houses to individual users desirable. These possible forms of exploitation could, after all, lead to privatization of the part of the beach, on which the houses would be placed. Present -dayFor that reason, the operating model for the beach houses is short -term rental, where the tenant is not allowed to use the beach houses for more than 3 connecting weeks. For the period after 2025, the Commission has decided that a tendering procedure will be completed.
