Description: RWS switches to corridor -oriented operation and guidance to offer safe, smooth and reliable shipping traffic management, so that the waterway is a fully -fledged and sustainable alternative to land transport. From local ministry and supervision of shipping, shipping services are adjusted to working on a route, the corridor. To fill this in properly, the Nijmegen traffic post is being rebuilt; The workplaces are prepared for remote object control, the building is being adjusted to current health and safety requirements and building bound installations are modernized. The function of the traffic post requires a 24/7 stable and quiet working environment. As a result, the existing use function of the traffic post during the renovation must be housed in modular/movable units for temporary workspace (cabins) outside the building.
