- The municipality of Noordbeveland has 3 kilometers of beach (see photo below page), located from the Oosterscheldekering to about halfway through the Veersedam. Tourists and holidaymakers can go to the beach via 7 beach entrances. Various facilities are concentrated around the beach entrances, such as a beach pavilion, chip shop, parking areas, toilet units, the rescue brigade and there are beach cabins in the summer season. The beach and the beach entrances are owned by the Central Government Real Estate Agency, Staatsbosbeheer or Scheldestromen Water Board. The municipality of Noordbeveland intends to reform the management and maintenance on the inside and outside of the Banjaardgebied.
