Description: The sewage treatment in Eindhoven on the Van Oldebarneveltlaan has been set up as a purification site from the mid -1950s and has undergone various extensions. The sewage treatment is located in part of a former landfill. The De Dommel Water Board has various water purification tanks in sewage treatment. The 3 pre-situated tanks of WWTWS Eindoven are old (tribes from the 1960s, roof applied in the 90s) and require a large-scale maintenance intervention, mainly concerning civil engineering maintenance. This mainly concerns the concrete construction, roof, replacement of metalwork (gutters, overflow edges, etc.) and electrical renovation. The air line work and the spacious bridge are still fine. Without major maintenance, the function is affected and the installation is not safe. The chance of an unexpected failure of the function is also increased and this will lead to a calamity. This is because the intake obligation of sewage water is no longer met, which means that extra unwanted overflows in the area.
