Description: GVB has 5 electric NZK springs at the end of this year "in the Vaart". After the initial warranty period, all these ships need structurally, (small or large) regular maintenance every two and a half years. The maintenance falls into regular maintenance and interference maintenance. The regular maintenance is fully planned, and focuses on the hull-technical part of the ship excluding the upper water ship. In addition, there may be the remedy of defects and malfunctions. Depending on the severity of the malfunction, these activities are not foreseen, urgent, and therefore not planned. Regular maintenance is expanded every five years with a SI inspection; An inspection in which the Shipping Inspectorate (IL & T-Scheepvaart) carries out safety inspections for vessels used professionally.
