- The Lifespan Extending Maintenance (LVO) Vondelingenweg project focuses on carrying out lifespan-extending maintenance on the pavement construction of the Vondelingenweg and a number of connecting roads. The Vondelingenweg is used intensively as an access road for customers and othersactivity in the 1st and 2nd Petroleumhaven, the Eemhaven and the Waalhaven. The Vondelingenweg is also a Regional Road and a disaster route for the A15.
Life-extending maintenance (LVO) must be carried out on the Vondelingenweg over a length of approximately 4.6 km - 'from fence to fence'.This means that not only the pavement is looked at, but all assets that have to do with the infrastructure. Where necessary, central conductors, road furniture, signage, etc. will be renewed.
