- The NPO Radio 2 Top 2000 is one of the largest radio and music events in the Netherlands, which more than 10 million people watch and listen to every year. The list of 2000 songs is compiled every year by the public and can be heard from Christmas Day, December 25, midnight 00:00 until and on December 31 at 00:00 on NPO Radio 2. Various broadcasters also provide television programs around the Top 2000. The public can experience the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000 live in the Top 2000 Cafe.
The assignment concerns the furnishing and setting up of the necessary facilities for (visual) radio broadcasts on location, so that program makers can do their work for the realization and registration of the event. The assignment concerns the (visual) radio broadcasts of the opening of the voting week, the voting final day, and the broadcast week of the Top 2000. This registration is usually, but not necessarily, live.
