• Program: Putting the regional defenses in order in the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheerenlanden (A5H) is part of the A5H Area Program. The area program includes water system measures and quay reinforcements. For more information about the program, see Project: These quay reinforcements the regional flood defenses are being tackled in phases. First, the quays of the dug drainage canals in the Alblasserwaard and the drainage quays of the Zouweboezem in the Vijfheerenlanden, which are mainly located in rural areas, will be tackled (tranche 1, see Figure 2).
