The Safe Vecht Dalfsen project aims to guarantee water safety for the area behind the Vechtdijken between Dalfsen and Zwolle. The associated objective for the plan development is to obtainFrom a licensed and realizable design, fitted in the unique environment of the Overijsselse Vecht, so that the realization phase can start in a controlled and predictable way. Part of the Scope are part of standard trajectory 9-1 (Northern Vechtdijk) and part of standard trajectory 53-3 (SouthernVechtdijk). In the third national test round (LTR3), these primary flood defenses and Zwolle have been rejected in various failure mechanisms. The total dike route to be strengthened has a length of 29.7 km and is located in the province of Overijssel and in the municipalities of Zwolle and Dalfsen. The northernProject limit is located at the Vechtbrug of the A28 and the southern project border is located at Dalfsen.
