Description: Knowledge & Advice Department is part of the business function ' Primary Support ' with mainly an advisory role towards the strategy and policy and directing and asset management departments. We are the expertise center of the organization and provide substantive knowledge. As a Hydrology consultant you participate as a consultant within our team on model building in Sobek and the preparation of area plans. Models are automatically generated per drain area with which the water task is calculated. The basic dates from the core registration does not always produce a truthful imitation of reality. It is important to detect those imperfections - to report to the geo -specialists - and to improve the Sobek model. In order to ensure that the final model results are in line with the practice as well as possible, a lot of consultation is needed with the person concerned of various disciplines. For example, frequent contact must be made with the colleagues from the field service and location visits may be needed to process the practical situation within the theoretical frameworks as well as possible.
