Description:
Developments in the field of driving task support and Incar information are a reason for the question of whether (1) retention is possible/desirable in terms of physical signposting information and (2) how it can be anticipated on future Incar Navigation developments. RWS therefore hasIn 2022, Arane, TU Delft and AMV asked a preparatory investigation into the future of signposting on motorways. This study asks both the question of the required signposting information for navigating from the driving task and the question of what Incar and ADASmean for this. DGMO has asked to further explore the possibilities for reducing the number of referred destinations and/or system adjustments on Dutch national roads, whereby the main road network for road users is guaranteed quickly and safely. NBD has thatAsked to take the underlying road network with this exploration. Rijkswaterstaat is therefore looking for a partner who can support us in conducting relevant research that provides insight into factors that play a role in this from Human Factorsto ask.
