Energie Beheer Nederland B.V. (EBN) is 100 percent owned by the Dutchnational state. We implement parts of the climate and energy policy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
Until 2016, we mainly focused on the exploration, extraction and storage of oil and gas. We are now one of the driving forces behind the energy transition in the Netherlandsand. EBN has in-depth knowledge of the Dutch subsurface and plays a key role in connecting private and public parties in the energy sector. Collaboration is of great importance to realize the climate ambitions.

Participations
EBN is involved as a non-operating partner in almostall oil and gas projects in the Netherlands. Our interest in these activities varies from 40 percent to 50 percent. The proceeds from this benefit the treasury and therefore Dutch society.
