In the work plan 'Together for the best education', agreements have been made to take accelerated action during teaching time. In this context, it has been agreed to start a two-year pilot teaching period in secondary education (VO) from the 2024-25 school year. Participating schools receive adviceleadership to develop and implement an approach that suits their school. This assignment focuses on guiding these participating schools.
The client for this future tender is the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW).
The pilot education period for secondary education is an iinitiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the education unions and the secondary education council. With the pilot we want to support secondary schools in consciously and responsibly organizing teaching time differently. By offering fewer teaching hours, schools and teachers have more room for developmenttime and preparation time, with the aim of increasing the quality of lessons and reducing the workload of teachers. This tender concerns the guidance of approximately 150 schools in secondary education in organizing teaching time differently.
