Mapping different risk areas for plot runoff via drainage ditches/pipes in Flevoland;
Acquiring practical experience at plot level with various types of infiltration trenches with indirect overflow as an alternative to drainage ditches/pipes in the variousrisk areas;
Monitor the difference in water discharge to the ditch and the water quality (concentrations of GBM and fertilizers) between drainage ditches/pipes and infiltration ditches with indirect overflow;
Develop together with farmers practical, effective types of infiltration ditchesas an alternative to drainage ditches/pipes;
Dissemination of knowledge about promising infiltration ditches as an alternative to drainage ditches/pipes among Flevoland farmers and consultants.
